Just a little something.

From Anna Spiro, a pic of a client installation...the house is of course all white with lots of bright color. I for one really just loved this pic in particular. The turquoise console table, but also that painting which looks like a cross between aboriginal art and some kind of buddhist mandala without the mandala?

which brings to mind the episode of Man Shops Globe where Keith went to Australia and got to see all that beautiful aboriginal art...

I love the colors and textures but I also love the stories behind most of these paintings. They usually depict something of the painters surroundings or an imagined scenario but always in this very primitive way due to their lack of true reference...which is to say there ain't a lot of galleries out there in the bush. Or modern conveniences for that matter. Is it Friday? Because I sound like a sleep deprived idiot (which I am). Well anyway, I like aboriginal art.
